Tea Board’s role being that of a catalyst towards acceleration the production growth rate,
the incentives offered under this scheme constitute 25% of the approved unit cost per ha
and the balance 75% of the total investment required for undertaking the developmental
activities has to be mobilized by the growers either from internal generation or by

has resulted in the cost of production of Indian Tea becoming the

Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have
approved a proposal of Tea Board India for setting up of a Special
